Vancouver 2010 Olympic fever

Granville Island turned into the Francophone Pavillion. Kristi, Chris, Adam and Chris on a Sunday out.

Chris, Chris and Adam with 2 (empty?) strollers on Granville Island enjoying sunshine and art installations (well, the art was a bit cryptic actually...).

We went to see cross-country at the Nordic Center outside Whistler. This was the day for 30 km men's mixed with classic and freestyle. Here is the arena with the leading skiers coming in in. A great experience - the area was beautiful and you could enjoy a beer in the sunshine while watching world class sport. Oh, and the 3 countries dominating the top 10 were... Sweden, Germany and Canada!
Sweden won gold and bronze!!!
Possibly unexpected to the iniated, totally unexpected for Malin who thought a flag would be too nationalistic to buy... So here she had to ask a Swede if she could "borrow" a corner of a flag to be part of the Swedish crowd cheering the winner on. Mango learnt "heja, heja!"...

Chris and Adam went to see Sweden beat Finland in ice hockey. Since they didn't have a Swedish flag, Chris brought along the second most Swedish attribute - Pippi Longstocking.
