Chris bought running shoes on Boxing Day Sale and went running with Mango in the Chariot carrier (for biking, running, skiing etc) to Stanley Park. A new routine for the new year perhaps?

Nej, det var ju en liten Felix Mango!

Som far munnen att le och vara hjartan att dansa tango.

Men det basta i livet ska man dela,

sa vi blir glada nar ni vill kolla bloggen, maila eller halsa pa, busa och kela.

... but when Malin should give cereals in the evening it ended in one of those situations where it didn't matter anymore whether there was a bib or not - there was just food everywhere!

Swedish Lucia Celebration

The 13th of December the Swedes celebrates St Lucia, the bearer of the light.

Christmas Parties!

This was the day of Christmas parties. We were quite proud to be invited to 3 different parties and started off at Jessica and Brett with some gingerbread-house-city building and mulled wine.


We then spent the evening here at Kristi and Chris with great food and friends.

The last party was "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" at our next door neighbours. Lots of fun!

Dinner!

Mango is eating "tasters", one new flavour for like four days. So far it's mainly been veggies like potatoes, carrots, corn, squash but also different cereals at night. He seems to enjoy the tastes but doesn't get that much down yet...

The Christmas Outfit - red sweater, traditional cowichan jacket (knitted by native Canadians ) and that slick hair style.

The tree in the background is our Christmas-tree to be. It's been dug out of Chris parents' garden and the intention is to return it there...

I Skummis

Sister Karin who came home for a visit from Lillehammer in Norway where she normally lives. Malin's grandmother Gurli is proudly sitting with Mango (in front of Malin and her dad) - her grand-grand-son.

Mango was so fascinated by Pippi Longstocking that Karin found among her childhood toys that Malin bought one for him as a present. His first doll!

This amazing carrier was a present from dad and Siv. This test ride felt great and we are looking forward to many great hikes and adventures to come!
